Pedialyte.. pure sugar in a bottle
Saturday. 9.6.08 12:03 am
Oh god, that shit is disgusting. I tasted a sip of Liz's pedialyte tonight so she'd drink it. I think grabbing a spoon and pulling out a spoonfull of sugar would have tasted better. Shit!
But I was the nice mommy tonight and grabbed a can of "Dora Soup", a pack of Chips A'hoy, and some Motts for Tots Apple Juice. Hopefully she will eat some Dora Soup tomorrow, along with a cookie- because I spoil her too much.
Before I left for work, she was screaming again, and felt like she was on FIRE. I took her temp and it was 101.1. Poor child. We forced her mouth open and poured motrin in. Of course, she acted like she was going to throw up again, so I jumped out of the way. As shallow as I am, I didn't feel like changing my jeans and shirt right before I ran out of the door. I was going to be late as it was.
And don't even get me started on work. My other name foolishgames
has a work blog on it. At least my bestie stopped by to see me. I got to update her on the finer parts of last weekend, and cry to her over stupid family shit. We plan on getting trashed on Sunday night, but I promise; no drunk blogs this time.
how to kill time at work...
After work I ran to walmart to grab the things for Liz and enjoyed a conversation with my love <3 Did I mention I love having unlimited texting so I can still use AIM when I'm not home? I've become quite the master of texting and driving. Yes, yes. I expect the flames there.
I did buy Liz a few things tonight since ON was having the baby sale with 40% off most items. Add in my 20% discount, and that's a good chunk of savings!! I bought her sneakers, socks, a tshirt, and these SEXY maroon boots. They're gorgeous. Perfect little diva shoes. Shit I love having a girl, but it makes me so broke. I also bought myself a nice zip up hoodie. It was freaking cold in that fitting room, so I buckled down and bought a sweatshirt. I need to leave my debit card at HOME when I go to work, but I always say "damnit, I need it for my break"
Anyway, the monkey wants to go grocery shopping tomorrow night together. Oh what a bonding experience. Our first counseling appointment is Tuesday. I can't wait to get the couples shit over so I can talk to her myself and say "Lady, listen. I don't want to save this marriage- let me vent and scream and give me advice on how to get outttttttt"
So this got longer than I expected, but oh well. Deal with it =D

Gotta be f*kin kidding me!!
Friday. 9.5.08 1:22 pm
My little girl woke up screaming at 7:30 am today. She didn't eat anything, not even her favorite foods, so I knew something was up. She was a little warm, which was to be expected considering she was hysterical for the entire morning. She asked for a cup of water, so I made her a nice large sippy cup of ice water. She started to cry when I came back to her (she was laying in our bed watching cartoons). I sat on the bed with her when the telltale cry began. The mild little chokes, the antagonizing "oh crap what's happening" high pitched wail. I froze, even though I knew it was comming. And oh did it come. All over the bed.
So now it's a wait and see game. I gave the poor wee one a popsicle, because I won't let her have solids until I know if it's a virus or a random upset tummy.
She was thrilled with the popsicle and then settled back down to continue on her cartoon addiction.
She won't eat lunch, so I know she's still not feeling well. *sigh* Is it bad that I'm anxious to go to work tonight? haha
I called the husband at work, and he was so uninterested. He tells me to call him if something's up with Lizzy. Well I did. Sorry for interrupting your day to tell you your daughter is puking all over again. Made me a little upset, but whatever. If this is anything like the last virus she had in June, I'm in for a week of throwing up, washing sheets, and exploding diapers. Fun.
At least she waited until this weekend to get sick. Hoo-rah!
You. Are. Simply. Wonderful <33

2 year olds love hopscotch
Thursday. 9.4.08 9:38 pm
I remembered that Liz had a pack of sidewalk chalk from Easter, so I dug that out this afternoon. It was in the very high 80's, so we needed something to do in the shade. She enjoyed herself immensly and tried to mimic me with the hopscotch board I drew. She cracks me up
Anyhoo, the last few days have been suckish but I don't feel like going into it right now. Just realizing how sucky people treat me, and how I wish things were so
different. BUT I said I won't get into it so I'll leave you with the cute video and head off.
